I got an email from Southwest that said my flight is eligible for a flight credit. The offer said that I could change my flight for no charge, but I would lose any "extras" (in my case, EBCI) and I would receive a flight credit good for 1 year. Since my plans are relatively flexible (this is for my return flight), I was intrigued, so I clicked on the offer. The flight that they are offering to switch me to is the next day! And to compensate me for my flexibility, they will offer me a flight credit of......$20! Stop traffic!

Um, no thanks. I'll stick with my original plans. That's laughable. The odd thing is that I actually wanted to add that last night to our trip in the first place, but $20? That's not even enough to cover the cost ofthe EBCI that I would forfeit if I took the offer! C'mon, Southwest...you can do better.
