Just posted this in another thread, but figured it belongs in here, too:


AKL from 11/29/09-12/6/09 Club level, savannah view. Without AAA-$2,714.00 (tax included).

With AAA -$2,041.00 (tax included). A savings of practically $700! Even the reservation specialist said that the discount is usually only 10%, so that was a great deal!

Did you book via AAA or wdw?

....Tried to book a room at the Contemporary for Jan 26 - Feb 1st....and no AAA rates. This was doing it at 10:30 am this morning through DU....I can't believe it Anyone get CR?

I had posted we got CR for $379.69 for a garden view. We couldn't get standard view.

To get the package you need to use a AAA travel agent to book the whole thing. Can't book a room only and then add the others, it is all one package and you need to use the AAA travel agent to get the room discount.

I was able to add the AAA discount to my club level reservation which is from April 17-26. I have had the reservation since Dec. I called at 9 am Sunday morning and got a 10% discount.

Well I switched already DH & I do not want to take a chance of not getting connecting rooms again. So now were at BWI deluxe concierge at $484.50 per night. It's $72 more than 2 rooms at AKL pool view but we'll have the lounge and all be together.

Called yesterday and was able to apply the discount to my existing reservation. That was also the first time I was told my updated rate since I had originally booked before 2009 rates were out.

Before the discount, the $1614 was comprised of $430 for each of the 2 weeknights, and $575 (gulp!) for the Friday night.

With the discount, the $1404.57 is comprised of $365.50 for each of the 2 weeknights, and $517.50 (still ... gulp!) for the Friday night.

August. The rates are definitely out. I received quotes with AAA discount at AKL, WL, POR and BWI

Hi. Looks like AAA discount is only 15% for the values in value season. Their 2008 brochure lists 20% for values, so that seems to be a change for 2009. Anyone confirm or deny this? I got 15% on my All Star Music Family Suite, but I thought it was just the suites, but now I'm seeing 15% on regular rooms.
