possibly renting.....need info 2 bdr villas

I looked at both the allears and the wdwinfo webpages on the 2 bdr villas and am a bit confused about how many bathrooms are in the 2 bdr units. Once description seems to suggest a second, smaller bathroom off the 2nd bedroom. The way I picture the two bedroom unit is a king room with master bathroom, a queen room with smaller bathroom and a combined living room/kitchn area. Thanks for any help.

When stayed @ SSR in 2005 we had a 2-bdrm. villa...
...and yes, there is a separate bathroom within the second bedroom!
Try going to Disney's site for DVC and look for 360 View of rooms
button, hold your cursor over it and you'll be given choices on what
kind of view you'd like to see...3-bdrm., 2-bdrm. & a studio view.
Hope this helps...also there's plenty of pix on these boards to
get a better angle on the rooms.

All of the 2 BR units have 2 bathrooms. Take a look at the 360 degree room tours on the DVC website: www.disneyvacationclub.com Once the page finishes loading, click on "See our resorts" and select the resort you want to view. When that page loads, there will be a link for the 360-degree room tour. Click on it and a smaller window pops up. Once it has loaded, click on the "2 bedroom" link and start "touring". Click on the little blue squares to see a photo of each of the bathrooms.

You have it correct; the queen room would also have a sofa bed or 2nd regular bed depending on the type of reservation or location. Also, if the room is a lock-off, the second room would have a mini kitchenette, with micro, fridge, toaster, coffee maker and supplies. In the LR, you get another pull out sofa, the full kitchen plus TV (altogether there would be 3 tv's total), not to mention the washer/dryer (OKW has a large laundry room). Patio and chairs are located off the main living area plus the second bedroom). The main master bathroom has double sinks in two different areas, walk in shower and large whirlpool tub. Once we saw the DVC rooms, we joined and never looked back---it's so much nicer to have all that space! HTH

Thanks for all the info!! My best friend is thinking of coming to WDW on vacation with us, bringing the total to 7, I couldn't imagine 7 of us with only 1 bathroom!! Can I request a 'lock off' or is it luck of the draw?

there are 2 bathroom in the 2 bedroom units, but the 2nd one is not small, just smaller than the other one. The master bedroom has the whirlpool tub righ in the bedroom.

WE went to OKW this past Oct. and the laundry room doubled as our infants bedroom (door left open). It was big enough for the PNP and she slept great because it was quiet and dark.

You're most likely to get a lock-off. The dedicated units (not a lock-off) are a special reservation--it would be unusual to get one otherwise. At the BWV the only choice is a lock-off. HTH

You can request a lock-off. But if you stay at the BWV you will be guaranteed one because they are all lock-offs there.

Thank you. I would much rather have a lock off. It would actually be two different families, my bf with her 2 kids and me with my 3 kids, so a lock off would make us feel more like we had separate rooms. I priced it out and renting points would be cheaper than 2 rooms at a mod. Now the problem is that we are both waiting for our tax returns to see what we can spend. I'm pretty sure I'm too late to rent points for May (I'd do any BWV,BCV or OKW) but we might go again next Feb. Thank you all for your help!
