Possibly New Rides!!

I don't know how viable an idea this is.....but I've been thinking about it for about 7 months now. It's that Disney should create a land just for adults. You know, a place where adult singles and couples and those traveling without their kids, or maybe convention-goers without their families, etc. could go after hours and maybe watch a comedy show or two; perhaps have a drink and go dancing. It would be a highly-themed place of course, as only Disney can do. There would be several different types of music because people are so diverse nowadays. It would be gated to keep away the teens and kids; this may seem silly but if they put it on an island surrounded by water it would be easier to only let those in that qualify and have paid. Seems like this would make Disney a ton of money if they did it right.

But then you run the risk of having just one aspect (i.e. The Adventurer's Club) being the only unique destination, whereas all the other clubs were not open during the daytime, thereby halving whatever profit Disney was making. You also get some less-than-desirable visitors, whether locals or tourists (my money's on the former), getting into trouble due to the late-night scene, Disney attempting to ban them, and being told they cannot do that. Add all those issues together and you get Disney turning the island into a daytime and nighttime destination with a greater chance at surviving.

I'm not taking any sides here. All I know is if Disney was making money hand over fist with PI, they never would have altered it. They did so as a result of all the things I mentioned, and probably a few we'll never know.

Why not simply leave the kids at home? It's an interesting idea to have a park for adults but thats what would take that magic away from Disney. Part of the reason Disneyland is such a magical place IS because it allows all age groups to go in a park, do the "children" rides, wear goofy ears and have a fun without been looked at sideways, a place where it is expected; THE reason why you go to Disneyland.

My son and I were thinking about a Back to the Future attraction that begins inside where Monster Inc Laugh Floor is. It would be based on a motion simulator car ride similar to the dinosaur vehicles in its movements but of course it would be a DeLorean. It would wind through scenes and then accelerate (due to the flux capacitor thing) and loop or twist over the entrance to Tommorowland ending inside the building where Stitch presently resides (no loss to see Stitch goes). Half car ride, half rollercoaster.

Unless you're joking, BTTF is a Universal property, and they already have an attraction at that park based upon the movie. It's a flight-simulator; check it out on their website. ;)

Well, BTTF is gone now, replaced by The Simpsons, but he did basically describe it...

Of course I was kidding - everyone loves Stitch. Don't they?
