For some reason, I can't find a friend to go to Disney World with at the end of September. It's $500 more to book a trip alone for 8 days 7 nights. Is it worth it or should I just do something else?

Welcome to Disboards, I'm sure you will have a great trip. One of my best friends is famous for doing solo trips, and she has a great time.

Have fun.

Cheers Larry.

I've heard about so many positive experiences with solo trips to WDW :) You'll have a great time! I'd say go for it :thumbsup2

I have done two solo trips and am about to do it again in less than a month! Those trips even played a part in inspiring me to join the boards. Even if you only do it once, it's something you should try and experience. There's nothing quite like being able to do your Disney vaca with only having to keep yourself happy.

The added costs of going solo can be a bit scary at first, but when you get to do whatever you want whenever you want, you'll realize it is well worth the investment. Treat yourself!

So worth it !!! Go and make some memories at this fabulous vacation paradise. I have never regretted a single penny I spent on my very first trip to WDW - solo.

This summer, I took a solo trip to Tokyo Disney, Aulani, and Disneyland. It was fun and I got to go where I wanted when I wanted...but I was ready to be around people/my family again by the time it was over. Let me know if you have any questions about my travels. :)
