Possible to schedule a trip for 1/2/2011-1/9/2011

I just found this board and am thrilled (and overwhelmed) by the amount
of great info presented here.

At the last minute we're considering taking the kids to DW
on the 2nd week of their school break 1/2/2011 - 1/9/2011
give or take a day or so in either direction.

We would like to stay on property and prefer hotels such
as polynesian, grand floridian, contemporary, wilderness lodge

I saw a thread on free dining but didn't see a promo code or
how to get in on the deal. Is is still valid?

Are there any promo codes for hotel stays?

Is there forum that talks about booking a full package including
hotel/airfare/dining with disney reservations versus booking
the items individually?

Any pointers or directions as to the best discussion boards/threads to read
would be greatly appreciated.

The free dining promotion expired last week. There is still some room discount promotions on the Disney reservation site which might apply to the resorts that you're looking for. Did you look there?

You can look under the Dining section to see what people have discussed about doing the dining plan, whether it was worth it or not. Otherwise, it does take a little bit of reading to find out what others have done, how they went about saving money, etc.
