Possible to save tickets from free dining offer?

Having just returned a few weeks ago we are obviously already thinking about our next trip :) and with a set of annual passes due to expire at the end of October are considering 10 days at the beginning of October. We had been thinking about staying off-site, but the deals on Disney UK for OKW and SSR do look really good at the moment.

Anyway, my question is this... if we took the package that includes accommodation, tickets and free dining, do you think it would be possible to save the tickets for a future trip and still get free dining? I've read through the terms and conditions on the web site and don't see anything that suggests this wouldn't be possible, but wondered what everyone else thought...

Thanks,
Paul

When i enquired about doing this i was told no,as everything is on your "keycard" that you get at check in & everything expires on the date that u check out.. Hope this makes sense:)

Appreciate the info and link. I figured it was probably a non-starter, but thought it worth asking the question.

Pretty sure the additional £820+ for tickets and inclusive DDP doesn't make sense for a 10-night stay when we already have APs, but it's late and my brain is going to sleep so i'll do the numbers tomorrow to confirm :)

Thanks again
Paul

I think 820 pounds is an excellent saving. We spent a lot more than this on food on our recent 10 day trip but that was for an adult a 3 year old and a 1 year old

I guess I'm probably not comparing apples with apples, as i'm going against the amount we spent on food per day on the last trip, not necessarily what the DDP would buy you in terms of sheer quantity.

We're not used to ordering an appetizer, main and dessert for each table service meal, and I'm sure that would soon add-up - particularly when eating at Disney restaurants each time. Though we would also have the tip on top of our final 'bill', versus effectively getting it for free using the Tables in Wonderland card.

Decisions, decisions :)

you dont get an app with the dining plan anymore so not sure if that would make a difference.

If you book with Travel City Direct (owned by Virgin, flying Virgin planes), you can get free dining without having to buy tickets. :D

Just tried a dummy booking and it let me get to payment page without adding tickets but it does say it T&C's tickets have to be bought. Although their prices should incl tix, just priced up 2 weeks next August:scared1:

Offer is only available if a package including accommodation at a Walt Disney World Moderate Resort, Disney Deluxe Resort or selected Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts, plus Disney Tickets for the whole party and a Disney Dining Plan is booked together.

I'm sure someone posted here they booked with TCD without buying tickets. Maybe a glitch?

Edit: Just did another dummy booking for next October at Coronado Springs Resort with the Disney Dining plan, and it's letting me pay for it. I've already passed the 'buying ticket' page and I didn't select anything.

Worth a shot if you can find a price, looks like you can book without tickets. Like I said, I'm sure someone posted a couple of weeks ago about booking with them and buying tickets elsewhere.
