Possible to do Spectro after Hoop De Doo?

We have a 5:00 ressie for the HDDR show on our arrival day on Sept. 20. Is it possible to get over to Spectro afterwards? And if so what is the best way to get there? Thanks so much!

I would be interested as well...we were trying to figure out what we could do after HDDR ...and if we had time for anything.

Do you know what time Spectro runs on that night? If you allow 2 hours for HDDR, then take the boat to the MK, you could get there in time for 8pm or later.

Yes, you could, but it will be tight timing (if Spectro is at 8pm). HDDR takes two hours. As soon as you get out, go to the boat dock at Fort Wilderness
(3 minute walk from HDDR). Boats go from there to MK (but makes stops at WL). Another boat from there goes to Contemporary -- and you could walk through Contemporary grounds to MK (from the Cont. dock, about 12-15 minutes if you know the way). Be sure you ask Boat Captain where your boat is going! You will make Wishes for sure.

Spectro starts at front of park. And you may find it a little crowded when you first step in and hard to navigate. But festive. If the parade is already in progress, you will be directed around to the right (right as you enter) unless there is a break in the action, then sometimes they let folks go by in batches across the left. It matters because you will have difficulty trying to go deeper into the park if you want to try to get ahead of the parade to see the whole thing if they make you go right. You can't get around it in time.

It's a fun boat trip over and using all sorts of transportation adds to the magic. Have a great trip!

Thank you so much! That is very helpful! We've only been to Disney once and don't know all of the ins and outs yet. Our DS has a service dog and the last time the CMs were very helpful in helping us navigate, so if we are there close to 8:00 maybe they can help us get to a good spot. I'm glad that there is a boat to WDW; all of us (especially the dog!) love the boat rides!
