Possible solo trip, offsite help needed

I am seriously considering a solo trip in early November to WDW. DH travels alot, and has enough points built up that I could get a free hotel room off-site for 4 or 5 nights. My question is personal safety. His rewards are through the Wyndam family, which includes Super 8, Travelodge, Knights Inn, Days Inn and Ramada. Has anyone stayed at any of these along 192? What are your thoughts?

Restaurants and shuttle service is optional - I'm not a big eater, and I have access to discount certificates for a car rental. Air Tran has super rates that I can get, so it will be a pretty low-budget trip.

Start with TripAdvisor for reviews of those hotel brands and you will see places like the Wyndham Cypress Palms, but most of the Ramada hotels do not get very good reviews. Not sure if Bonnet Creek (which may be a Wyndham??) has small or studio rooms but it is on WDW property. And I'd go for the car rental, help you get around better. FWIW.
