2007 - Haunted Mansion Refurbishment - Planning - (11/15/06) All the rumors about a rehab and changes to the Haunted Mansion started off this summer with a rumor about adding a real gift shop to the rides exit area. According to sources the new gift shop is still part of the project and will be look like a catacomb.
2007/2008/2009 - Jungle Cruise Rehab - Rumor - (11/22/06) Sources tell us that the next big rehab for the park, in part due to the success of the Pirates rehab this past year, will take place on the Jungle Cruise. Now Ive got to think that this may be linked in some way to the new deal signed for an upcoming Jungle Cruise feature film. Anyone have a clue when this may take place? The only thing listed on the IMDB for the film is that it will come out in 2009.
???? - Space Mountain 2.0 - (11/22/06) Still nothing solid on this rumor yet, but our sources say that after a possible rehab to Jungle Cruise, it will be time to start a major rehab on Space Mountain. No one knows if this could just be tweaks to the existing ride or if they would consider replacing the entire ride system as they did in California.
