Possible President's Week Discounts

We are arriving a couple days before the start of the President's Week peak period, and staying through President's Weekend. I believe these are usually black-out periods for most discounts.

This past year, with similar dates, we were able to get free dining (checked in, before the black outs started).
Other than free dining, has anyone seen other discounts available for this time period? Any hope of a real room-discount for this time period?

We too got the free dinning this year. we arrived the Sunday before and left the Friday of Presidents weekend. In the past we have gone in Feb around the same time and gotten upgrade to park hopper and water parks free. Not near as good as the free dinning. I also think in the past I had the 40% off deluxe code but not for sure and never was actually there for Presidents day so don't know if that code applied based on check in date like the free dinning did. We are going the same time next year and really hoping for free dinning again!
