Possible pin gathering

Well, I am frantically working on getting my pins organized and put away...again...and I am playing beat the calendar because I said to Ruthie that I would have a pin get together before the end of the year and as she has pointed out to me the clock is ticking. I am thinking of having a little pin gathering of anyone who might want to stop by on Sunday November 25th. Now I know that this is Thanksgiving holiday weekend and that lots of people may be traveling or on vacation somewhere else, but I am running out of weekends that I have free. Just checking if there is any interest at all in having a meet with anyone who doesn't have plans.

There is a possibility that I will be having another little get together in December, but December is a busy month and I can't make any promises at this point.

Let me know if there is any interest at all.

Vince can't have a meet and just me show up!! And he's gone to all this work to get organized! Well, obviously, Vince, you can tell I don't care if it is Thanksgiving weekend! I can come to a meet anytime in November; and the only time I can't come is the 1st weekend in December.

Come on Guys! Surely we can find a time when we can all get together-- I wanna trade with some real people!

Tennis rears its ugly head one more time. I will be in Louisville running a Boys' 14 National Open Tennis Tournament.

I will be in a lovely Marriott Courtyard during the holidays telling 64 boys where to go!

Can someone mail a turkey to the Louisville Tennis Club?

I can't make it either. I'm SUPPOSED to be at the World but I'm not holding my breath. Been there, done that 2 other times this year and the plans fell through. Keeping my fingers crossed this time.

I am leaving Saturday for the cruise and will be back on the 19th. This Sunday I planned to have our families Thanksgiving, so unfortunately I will not be able to attend.

I leave that next Wednesday for 8 days in WDW.

So actually you picked one Sunday out of 4 that I will not be in WDW, but I still can not make it.

Maybe December will be good for me.

I would love to but..... well you know where I work and you know I most likely can't get that Sunday off! We stay here for Thanksgiving, so I am counted on as one who will be around that week-end so that others travelling .... can .. well travel!

...........I meant "real" people(that I know, or can get to know), as opposed to "not real" or "imaginary" people on Pinpics--"imaginary, because 80% of them (at least) never answer your requests, so I'm starting to believe they're all imaginary!

So, it's not looking too good for Thanksgiving weekend, Vince; got any other great dates that might work? Looks like everybody is going to WDW in November, so I'm going to be left alone on the boards to whine!

I'm not giving up. There are a few people who can make it and maybe there will be a few more. Plus Kathy (klmall) has a good point about the possibility of some new faces from the lines at the local Disney Stores. I know a lot of people may be busy or can't make it, but some might be able to and I don't have other options right now in November or even the first week in December. I promise I will be having more meets periodically in the future (maybe as soon as December) so those that want to will be able to come by. After all, I now have a permanent Disney meet place set up for use whenever and have no intentions of taking it down in the forseeable future.

Can't promise we can make it, but we'll give a good college try! Linda may have to work or she'll be washing clothes, since we'll be leaving for WDW on Tuesday the 27th. I might be able to talk her into letting me come without her.
What time are you thinking about, Vince? Do you want us to bring anything, like leftover turkey?
