Possible issue with biometric readers

At the place where I work we have a biometric reader to swipe in and out for our shifts. However recently my thumb that I used stopped working and in trying to find a solution it was suggested that my eczema might be to blame.

To combat it, I use steroid cream on my hands, which was suggested had the unfortunate side effect of thinning my fingerprints.

Now when WDW did the KTTW card this wasn't a problem, but now they've moved onto biometric readers, I'm worried I'm not going to be able to enter a park. Any suggestions?

The fingerprint readers only look for certain points and map them. I would have thought your fingers will change much over the course of 2 or 3 weeks enough for it not too read.

WDW have always used (well, at least for the last few years) biometric readers. As Tracy says, it doesn't actually register your fingerprint as such so I can't imagine your eczema (or use of steroid cream) will cause you any problems. I have had eczema since I was small and also use steroid cream on my hands and I don't have any problems.
