We are having a small Escape wedding with only immediate family and very best BFFs. But... I still wanted some sort of invitation to be sent out.

So today I hopped onto photoshop and got a couple of ideas going and with DF going "i like that, but not that" "get rid of that" "that one is better, i don't know why".... I think I finally have one.

What I am thinking is that this will be printed as 4x6 photos and sent out. The dates and times (and dinner ressies) are not set in stone until February when I get to sign my contract... so I have time to make changes and stuff.

Also... I KNOW not hosting the dinner afterwards is considered tacky by most, but we planned this WITH the people coming and they were the ones who insisted we make dinner reservations even if we can't afford to pay for the guests.

Aw I think it’s really lovely .... I’m only having a small escape wedding and I’m doing my own invites so I know how stressful it can be but it looks fabulous!

I think the invitation is great but I'd get rid of the "non hosted dinner" part and maybe put that on a newsletter or something. I know you said your guests agreed to it and are fine with it, it just seems out of place to put on an invitation. It is essentially saying "please travel all the way to Disney and come to our wedding but we're not buying your dinner". I hope that isn't harsh but that is how I read it. I know lots of escape brides don't have dinner after and that is fine, but I've always seen them just leave it off the invitation.

Or, if you're having an escape package you can put "cake and champaign reception to follow" and then find another way to tell your guests about the dinner.

yeah i like that... but cake and sparkling cider... or just cake and toasting...

Oo cake and toasting - i like that too

I like a lot of things! :)

Very cute but the font size on the last part is a little difficult to read. If you keep that information, or replace it with something different, maybe bump it up a size or two just to make it a little easier to read. Other than that, cute! Love the balloons!

I really like the change on the wording. It is your invitation after all and when you look back on it, it will be true to what happened without the fine print of what you could not provide.

I really love it and think it will make anyone happy when they receive it!
