Had lunch at LeCellier last week (made the reservations back in May!) Absolutely wonderful....as always. However, we noted there appeared to be quite a few empty tables while we were dining, which seemed odd to me since it's so hard to get a ressie there. Our waiter obviously overheard us commenting on it and stated that a lot of people just make the reservation for "if" they feel like eating there (or for that matter at any restaurant) and then don't bother to cancel it ....just pull a no show. He did throw out a percentage number of no shows, but, I don't recall what it was. However, he stated that they are going to start charging a fee for no shows......whether he meant just LeCellier or all TS restaurants I don't know. However, personally I think it's good idea........same concept as hotels......if you don't cancel by a certain time...seems fair to me......

Ha ha, you're a bit behind. There's been probably 50 threads started on this - but there is a sticky @ the top of the reservations board on it.

I'm a bit behind too :rotfl2: . I missed the posts. Great idea, though.

Closing this, as there is a main thread on the Reservations board for this topic.
