Possible explanation for crowds right now...

SO we will actually be going down ON Labor Day and stay all week. Does that mean we will be there during that least crowded time or when people say the week after labor day do they mean starting the Monday after Labor day? I am soooo hoping the crowds are really low when we are there. With it being our first trip and still being so hot I do not want to be feeling like pigs in a blanket..
