Everything I'm about to say is my opinion only so don't think I'm knockin anyone on this board
When we go on vacation the only thing I want to do is have fun fun and more fun. The last thing I want to do is cook on my vacation. I don't want to make a sandwich on my vacation.(that's just how I am)
When I read how people use cooking appliances in their room, (it's only my opinion) The first thing comes to mind is HUGE RISK!!. Not only are they putting their lives in danger, but they're also putting others in danger.
I'm not talking about the smells, but the hidden dangers such as, faulty wireing and rooms not equipped with the right ventilation. Faulty wireing is not so uncommon, I don't care if it's the most expensive hotel in the world(it could happen).
Then there are lawsuits you have to contend with not only from Disney, but from other resort guest guest as well.
To me the sane thing to do would be to either get a room offsite with a kitchenette/full kitchen or stay in a DVC resort.
Personally, I wouldn't chance it. As I said on another thread, all the budgeting in the world could not undo the financial loss that could happen from one mistake.
So here is what I'm asking, if you don't want to spend money on food while on vacation, don't you think it's morally right to stay somewhere where cooking is allowed rather than cook in a room when you know it's not allowed.
