Possible change of dates- broken arm

So my daughter's bestie broke her arm and needs 6-8 weeks of healing time. Our trip is in 7 weeks and 3 days.

Would you choose December 13 to 18 or December 9-14 at the DLH or

December 14 - 18 or December 10-14 at the GC?

If we stay at the GC we would fly in late the night before and stay at at hotel near SNA then head over in the morning. If we stay at DH we will stay all 5 nights there. I can justify getting to the DH at 1030 for a night but not the GC for pricing.

Help please! This has really thrown us for a loop.

I'd do anything in my power to stay at GC. It's lovely at Christmas time.

I can recommend several nice hotels near SNA.

I am so frustrated. I had went in to book GC and my computer spun and spun and then the page crashed. It would have been the same price as our original dates. When I went back in prices were $600 higher. We can stay an extra night at DLH for $700 less total that GC. I am beyond irritated. I had my heart set on GC.

ETA I booked both hotels and will decide later.
