Possible Change Coming to Rider Switch (see post #12)?

I haven't been since last year and during that time period it still was that 3 guests could ride on a rider switch. I know that Disney has lots of inconsistent information but I am just posting what I found when I looked for it in writing. More than likely, the CM just posted what she searched for on their own website. I could see them possibly trying it out in the future though. It would make it a lot harder for 2 people in your group to each hold tier 1 FP+ and then use rider switch to bring the other riders along (without them having FP+)

It's not just your experience. The website has had that BAD info up at least two years; it popped up during the changes to the site that ultimately were a portent of MDE.

And I can't even remember a dis'er coming back to report success in getting a pass for a situation where the kid just didn't *want* to ride.

You may have found one in me. At Big Thunder Mountain, my son was tall enough to ride, but not by a whole lot. He was just afraid and didn't want to ride. He was standing nearby when we asked for the swap pass and were given one without him approaching all the way or getting measured. I kind of gestured toward him standing with dad and said he didn't want to ride. Now it's possible that the CM just thought it looked believable that my son was just too short, but he wouldn't have passed a measuring test and we did say "he doesn't want to ride".

That wording about 2 guests has been in the website for at least a year or more because I remember this same topic from last year. As of last week, it was still 3 people allowed to ride with a rider swap (at least that is what was on the one I have that is good until the end of this month).

Well that does make me feel better...I wonder when it was EVER 2 guests because I have only used it in probably the past 2-3 years when my oldest was not tall enough for bigger rides and whenever I used it, it was always 3.
