Alright... we've narrowed down our choices for ADRs. What do you think? Most likely, we're doing the DDP. If we don't we may drop some of these.

We'll be in the world from 10/15 - 10/21/08

10/16 - Epcot day- TS dinner at Biergarten
10/17 - DHS day - TS dinner at 50's Prime Time
10/18 - AK day TS @ Chef Mickey's
10/19 - MK day but closes early for MNSSHP TS @ BOMA or Whispering Canyon Cafe
10/20 - Epcot day - TS at Clam Bake Cafe at Beach Club
10/21 - MK for first half of day - breakfast @ CP

It's me, DH, and DS8 and DS(just turned 13 but immature).
Which is better - BOMA or Whispering Canyon?
We're all adventurous eaters. The only restaurant we've eaten at before is Clam Bake Cafe. We wanted to try some new places.

We love Biergarten--it is one of our favorites. We enjoyed 50's Prime Time but haven't done it in years. We like Chef Mickey's...but prefer breakfast. We are trying both Boma and Whispering Canyon Cafe for the first time this year; we've done Clam Bake the last two years (we weren't too thrilled with it last year); and breakfast at Crystal Palace is one of our must-dos every year. Try to get an 8:00 a.m. ADR so you get in before everyone else and you have Main Street almost to yourself for a picture of your family in front of the castle.

Your son will surely love Whispering Canyon more than BOMA ... the food is a lot better at BOMA though.

I also like Boma better than WC. The food is just much better. Your son may enjoy the antics more at WC though. I asked DD7 which she would rather go to if she could only pick one, and she said Boma.

Instead of Boma or Whispering Canyon I'd go to
the Poly and either do O'hanas or Kona cafe-

I hadn't considered that one. That would make DS12 happy - he would love to be able to stay at the Polynesian. We did eat breakfast at O'hana's on our last trip. I'll discuss that option with DH.

We're surprising the boys with this trip so I can't ask for their input.

10/16 - Epcot day- TS dinner at Biergarten We can't wait to try this one in October
10/17 - DHS day - TS dinner at 50's Prime Time My dd's had a lot of laughs here, especially when their daddy got in trouble for putting his elbows on the table!
10/18 - AK day TS @ Chef Mickey's We are trying this one too in Oct.
10/19 - MK day but closes early for MNSSHP TS @ BOMA or Whispering Canyon Cafe My dd's LOVE Whispering Canyon, it was their only repeat request from our last trip...I really want to try Boma but it just didn't make our girls cut this year. We are going to try Ohana dinner this year too.
10/20 - Epcot day - TS at Clam Bake Cafe at Beach Club haven't done
10/21 - MK for first half of day - breakfast @ CP we've done lunch here and are trying breakfast this year.

I would do Whispering Canyon for the boys and do Ohana or Boma over the Clam Bake, just a suggestion. It sounds like you have a lot of fun places! That was what my dd's were most interested in...FUN. They are really looking forward to Sci-fi too.

Unfortunately, Clam Bake is DS12's favorite restaurant and it is his must return-to place. I would rather try others as well. Hmmmm...... I am sure if we did Ohana's or something else instead of that, he probably wouldn't care in the scheme of things I'll talk to DH and see what he says.

And, thanks for the comments about BOMA vs. Whispering Canyon. DH and I have wanted to try BOMA on both trips so I guess we'll have to wait for the next time we go, and, meanwhile, I'll keep making their recipe for Butternut Squash soup. As much as DH would like to go to BOMA he said that he'd rather go see the kids have fun.
