After experiencing Cold last month on our trip Im looking to avoid the experience.
May has been suggested a lot but thats far too soon for us to be able to pay for a trip :sad2: so Im looking at end of september beggining of October.

Whats the chances of it a super cold front coming in during these months??
Is it jacket weather at night times??

Thanks

A super cold front in late Sept/early Oct in central Florida? The chances are slim, very slim. Doubt you'll need a jacket in the evening.

Anything is possible of course, but the odds are that it's still warm at that time.

We often go mid-October and its usually still really nice and warm during the day. Sometimes a cardigan or longer trousers are needed in the evening.
I think it would be extremely unlikely that you would be cold going late September/early October.

We had one odd day when it cold windy & light rain in September. It was apparently because of a hurricane out over the sea. Other than that it was always hot, there was some big storms though.

we were there the first two weeks of oct 2010 and it was a little chilly in the evening into the second week but not unbareable. A light cardi or long sleeve top would be more than enough.

Plus you miss out on the super high humidity of the summer months.

Ditto.

We didn't take any jackets with us. I REALLY feel the cold. I need at least 24 C temps to consider removing sleeves and I happily went sleeveless the whole time, aside from most evenings when I took a light cardi with me - mostly for sitting in the aircon on the buses. My very Scottish DD didn't wear a cardi at all, save for on the boat back from DTD late at night a couple of times.

we,ve been twice in the middle 2 weeks of september abd both times it was very hot although there were some thunderstorms.

We were there oct 7th- 21st 2010 and wore vest tops and shorts the whole time. the evenings and very early mornings were cooler but not cool enough for us to put a cardi on although many people were wearing them. we thought oct was perfect temp wise

We always go in September and don't even bother to take jackets with us - we leave them in the car boot at the airport!!!! I have never felt the need for long sleeves at that time of year in Orlando, let alone a jacket.....and trust me, I feel the cold!!!

Well i must not be as 100% scottish as i thought i was because i found it cold some nights. On the boat back from DTD to POR on our last night was a bit chilly.

We always go end of Sept begining of Oct and have been far from cold.....we take jumpers with us, but they are always to put on when we arrive back home.....I can honestly say we have never felt cold while in WDW and would recomend this time of year to go:thumbsup2

We went in mid-September 2008 and the days were in the high 80's occasionally low 90's and the evenings were in the low-mid 70's

I would say take a pair of light trousers and a jacket for the evenings, but it won't be too chilly.

We're looking at going in September this year, we went in June last year, and it's just so much quieter in September. There is also the possibility that we might catch some NHL in Tampa as well.

The real problem in October is the hurricane season. October can be busy with BAD weather:scared1: The cold that we had this year was a record breaker. It may happen again. How about May 2012?

When in October did you go? Was it very late in the month?

I've been twice in September and once in October, and had brilliantly hot weather the whole time. October i needed a hoodie in the evenings, and September we had a bit of rain most afternoons, but otherwise its fine. Much better than December!!! Still can't believe we had to de-ice the car in Florida!!!!!
