Glad you are getting answers. That is good! How did they suspect a heart issue? What symptoms did he have?
Good news they have a diagnosis and a medical plan
Recovery might be slow, but Richard will be back to 100% over time
Hopefully you’ll have that sleepover on Boxing Day at your home
GREAT NEWS! Glad to hear about steady progress!I hope so too. He’s 6’5” and takes up every square inch of the hospital bed lol
They actually were talking about getting him a different bed because he’s getting a bed sore. The new mattress will puff up with air to change pressure points. I guess I’ll see when I spend the day with him on Thursday.
He had them call me tonight to ask me to bring him his phone so he must be improving if he’s ready to surf.

I’m feeling really helpless right now and I hate it. I’m used to being the patient, not the hand wringer.
I went and saw Richard today. The plan was that I would spend the day with him but it wasn’t meant to be. I could tell something was off the second I said hi to him. He’s in a lot of pain and he seems agitated today. Not really focusing too great and kept falling asleep mid thought.
He is being transferred to another hospital tomorrow to have surgery on his feet. They are going to drain fluid and do some other repairs.
Once they have a firm time, they are going to call me.
