Had a great meal last night.
DD got home safely from Orlando yesterday in spite of the weather. She got an internship with Hershey Entertainment and Resorts.
My inlaws can go to Florida with us over the holidays (yes, a positive!).

My wife and I had an impromtu dinner out (after running holiday related errands after work). We had a lively discussion of the sort we used to have when at uni. It was a lovely evening!!!

I was hired at Sea World for the Christmas season. It will help to fill in some of the hours that were reduced at my "day" job!

DH has been working since Monday at his new job. They had an "all hands" meeting yesterday, followed by a social hour. It is good for him to be out-and-about with other people.

Had a wonderful dinner with dbf last night and am almost done Christmas Shopping!

I just got a 7% raise.

Mind you it was supposed to be a 10% raise.

Which brings up positive thing number 2: I just got confirmed to take a vacation day Monday, which I'm surreptitiously using to go to two job interviews, one of which looks promising and involves lunch.

The tumor found on my mammo was benign and the surgery to remove it on Wednesday was a breeze! No pain at all after!

I just started my pre-wedding diet and I lost 7 pounds last week!

My cat hasn't attacked my in 15 hours! But then he hasn't had much chance since I locked him out of the bedroom & now I'm at work.

I'll get to see The Office tonight. Even though I started watching it last night, someone starting attacking me halfway through & I gave up & went to bed.

It's Friday, a few more hours till the weekend begins. Pizza tonight.

I've managed to sit up and come online (I'm stuck in bed with a REALLY nasty cold and a chest infection), AND I've been awake for almost two hours (this is a record from the past 72).
