Positive Dvc Post Only

We've been members for 4 years. Our vacations have each been magical and we could not be happier owning a piece of the magic. I have "lived" my life at WDW....to be able to own my own little corner of it makes my time their that much more complete

I get so excited about going to Disney that I have trouble sleeping the night before and I feel like a different person as soon as we cross over onto Disney property.

We have been there 25 times (plus three to DL). 20 of those WDW trips were pre-DVC for us. Our honeymoon was at WDW. Our 20th anniversary was on the Magic. Now with DVC (we joined last year) we hope for three trips per year and I love the average cost per day on APs with three weeks of visit per pass. Only regret is not joining sooner. Could not afford it in 1992 when we first looked, but should have reconsidered five years ago but for some reason never really focused on it.

The only downer about any trip to Disney is the morning that a CM leaves the infamous checkout envelope on the door knob -- just the worse role for any CM to play -- saying its time to go.

Are they perfect - no way and they admit it. But they are closer to that ideal than most and recover much faster when there is an occaisional miscue. I believe they have a 70% guest return rate and lets face it, Disney is a pricey vacation. So how do they get us to keep coming back? Its the great CMs, they make it special and deliver top quality experiences.

We had a wonderful first trip home to VWL in Dec. It was one of those times when it was cold and rainy. DVC or WDW cant help that. What was nice is we couldnt think of a nicer, warmer, cozier place than we would rather be than at VWL. Boy, those fireplaces sure are nice that time of year.

Looking very much forward to our next trip home!!
