Positive comments you've received about your weight loss

Are you receiving any compliments about your weight loss? During my 78 pound journey with WW, I really enjoyed some of the things people said. Now that everyone is used to the thin me, I don't get as much attention.

My 2 favorites.

"You've lost weight!" said exactly like the AOL You've got mail. Wouldn't it be great if our computers said something like this whenever we sat down?

This was from an old southern woman, "You don't look like a momma. You just fell off." I gather "fell off" refers to the weight, but it still cracks me up.

How about you?

From female co-worker: "Girl, you've lost weight."

From male co-worker: "You've lost weight. You look good." And, "Hey good-looking."

From DH: "Baby, you are looking good!" while putting arms around me.

The best comment I've heard is from 2 women I work with that told me I've inspired them to join WW and they did and are doing so good at it!

i have never had an encounter with a southern woman who said that? i would've given her my blonde look

i lost my weight very slowly, not too many comments to mention

my DH says to me now "well you know you're a thinner person"

me "oh gosh i've become such a light weight"
friend "well it's because you're getting skinny"

now, it's not like you're thinking

friend "you look great"
me "thanks for noticing"
friend "but you did all the work to get there"

big brother "wow! size 8 -- when did you last see that?"


well, he meant it in a really nice way

"Who are you?" from a frind of mine I had not seen in about a year. I had lost about 45 lbs. since he had seen me last & he literally could not recognize me at first.

on Christmas my younger brother said to me

"Where did you go?"

I thought he was talking about a trip Ive been on - lol
Then he said "No I havent seen you since you lost that weight - youve done great"

A male friend: "Wow! You are just stunning!"

My gynie "You are such an inspiration-I tell other patients about you and your accomplishment!!!! You are like a new woman!!" THEN he shook my DH and and told him he must be very proud of me!

Bank teller: Michelle, you are shrinking!! What are you doing?!

Newholiday-I like what your brother said--COOL!!

What a great thread!

Congrats first to all that have posted before me. It's so wonderful to hear comments on our weight loss. It helps encourage you to keep going.

I have heard quite a few compliments from people, here are a few:

"Hey, did you shrink over the weekend?"
"I just want to tell you that you are looking so good"
"Your progress is being noted - very much so"
"You are looking good girl"

My all time favorite is from a couple of young girlfriends of mine that call me and DH "Slim Goody". Just too cute.
