We did it in Jan and it was well worth it.However we were able to take FULL advantage of all the offerings. The lounge opens at 7am and if early entry at IOA is before that you won't get breakfast.Lots of great food offerings. We typically had breakfast ,went by the lounge for evening appetizers/Wine and then back down for dessert. We did not stay in the parks all day long though since they were open 9-6 and 9-7 that week.We were there for 6 nights and 5 full days so we spent alot of time at the parks and alot of time at the resort and in the lounge. If you are only there for a day or 2 and are open to close type people, the lounge may not work well for you
Thanks for the info! I checked the park hours and the early hour for Universal resort guests is from 7:00 - 8:00. I thought it was 8:00 - 9:00. We were planning on using the club for breakfast. Any hope that they will open a little early, so we can grab a bite and head for WWHP? Also, I am interested if anyone has opinions about the food at different times? Like the 12:00-3:00 snack....is it a good selection? Same for the 5:00-7:00 appetizers? I have 3 grown men who like to eat and I am trying to figure out a food budget to go with the club food.
Afternoon was sodas, water, coffee ,tea, Chips, pretzels type stuff
If you go over to the trip report page, I did a report from Jan that had alot of the food listings nightly. Each night was a different hot entree and we easily used it as a meal.
