Hi everyone. We have an ADR for dinner at Portobello Yacht Club in DTD for our first night. Can anyone who has eaten there tell me a little bit about it? Is it a super fancy atmosphere? I took a look at the menu and I'm not real sure about it. Is the food any good? TIA.

Wonderful northern Italian resturant. I really like to eat there. What are you unsure of on the menu?

Portobello is one of my favorite Disney restaurants. It's not super fancy, actually reminds me of an Olive Garden restaurant as far as how it's laid out and decorated. The food is delicious ... pricey ... but delicious!

I put this restaurant in my list of Top 5 favorites.

We enjoy dining here on every vacation. It's a must do for us. :thumbsup2

It's no better than Olive Garden with Victoria and Albert pricing.
I've been twice, thought maybe the first time they had an off night.
Second time no better, 30 some bucks for the signature dish and it was just so so sea food pasta.
You can do a lot better in DTD.

:thumbsup2 Portobello is now one of my favorite to. I ate there last summer and had a wonderful dinner. Great service and food!

We ate there probably six years ago now, maybe even longer and had horrendous service and a so-so meal. Meant to get back to try it again at some point, but never bothered. Unless things are a LOT better, I agree, you can do better at Wolfgang Pucks or Bongo's or even HoB for less money.
