I was thinking of this place for my escape wedding dinner, I have never been there, what do you guys think? Would you reccommend it?

I ma not sure if I am going to help you out much, but i will tell you my story.
I was booked there for my wedding reception on Nov 4, 2008. I had reserved the Rose Garden Patio which was completely separate from the rest of the restaurant and overlooked the water. Simply perfect. I was dealing with Eric there, and he was fabulous! He was willing to aything I asked, and was very accomodating. This was all set, deposit paid, everything, until last week.

I found out that they were renovating the restaurant during my timeframe, and there would be no private areas for us to move to. They will have a new patio, but it will be located in the front of the restaurant, where everyone walking by can see you.

If you are happy with sitting in the general area, I don't think you will have any problem. It might depend on what dates you are looking at, and depending on your dates, you might have a newly renovated restaurant!

Also, because he couldn't guarantee anything due to the renovations, he was willing to transfer our reservation to their other restaurants, or refund my deposit. So, since I did end up cancelling, i would still recommend them highly if they meet your needs. :goodvibes

I know several brides have had great experiences eating there after Escape weddings, and one mentioned that - since it was the middle of the day - they practically had the restaurant to themselves even dining in the main area.
