My husband is a big man with a big appetite. Not to mention that my dss is eleven and can eat more than dh and I. I made and adr @ Concourse but after reviewing the menu the portions sound small.

Plus I have spoken with somebody who went there and they said of all the places they ate that Concourse was the only place they left hungry.

For those of you who have eaten at the Concourse were the portions small or did you leave full?

TIA

I ate there in March with my parents, and the portions didn't seem abnormally small. When you enter the restaurant, check out the portion size of other patrons' meals to decide how much to order.

I find the portions here are average size. Unlike LeCellier, where the portions are very small. At concourse, some of the appetizers are huge (buffalo wings and onion rings). Of course if you get the filet mignon that is a small cut, but everything else is normal size. I always take my desert to go as there is never room for it.

Ate there last summer, and left stuffed. Of course, we had appetizers, meal, and dessert. I had the filet mignon and mashed potatoes; those two items filled my plate.

We ate lunch at Concourse last Oct on the DDP and were stuffed - didn't finish our entrees or desserts.

We had the Roasted Half Chicken with rosemary potatoes and seasonal vegetables (which at $15.99 is a good deal). We also had salads to open and ended up skipping dessert altogether. We were all stuffed and Neither DH nor myself are "finicky" eaters, :rotfl2: :rotfl2: In other words, we both like to eat well and while we were not "overly stuffed", we would have been had we eaten dessert. We did have the 10 oz. Prime Rib - with mashed potatoes ($20.99) one meal and by the time we had trimmed up the prime rib, we really weren't left with as much (that's simply the cut, what we had was wonderful!) and we did have salads and dessert that night. So, it depends on whether or not you prefer quantity or quality - just to clarify that it was ALL very good quality, but prime rib is a higher quality of meal than roasted chicken. When we are really hungry, we go with the chicken since it IS 1/2 a chicken, otherwise we go with either the prime rib or a filet.

Good luck & happy eating! :thumbsup2

We ate their last August as well, DDP. The portions were very typical I'd say, not small.
I recall my child had a steak, got "roped into" the light up ice cube (not on DDP) and he had dessert. My husband and I had app, entree and then ordered dessert which we both tried but were too full to finish.
We have ADR's for our next visit!
ENJOY!
