Hi all,
Following up on a recent thread I posted about booking The Wave for my birthday dinner, I wanted to know what everyone thinks of portion sizes. Since our trip on October is on a budget, The Wave is a bit of a splurge on its own---so I'm wondering is entree sizes are big enough to split.
We'd probably do an app or two if we can't decide, the filet entree and a dessert. For a woman who is a 2 slice of pizza gal and a DH who is a former US Navy sailor and no light eater, is splitting realistic?
I've looked at some food reviews and the portions look big, but you really can't tell from pics sometimes.
Thanks!
Ann

We definitely don't expect a gigantic sized filet to come out, just wanted to make sure (like you said) they weren't comically tiny. We'll be on the Deluxe
My cousin got the chicken pot pie and ate almost the whole thing, and my mom got the flank steak and ate almost the whole thing. We had a late dinner though and were starving.
, but...If money is a big issue, maybe you should choose a different restuarant. I've never been to The Wave, but it does seem a little expensive. You could go to, say, the House of Blues at DTD, have a great meal and save some money...without sharing! Just a thought.
