We just returned form the PBH and it was the perfect way for us to end our 2 week vacation. We stayed 4 nights there. I booked a deluxe room and asked for a water view that would also put us close to the beach pool and dock areas. We had room 2240 it was fantastic! We looked out onto the bacci ball courts with the villa pool right beyond that. We had a great little patio to sit out on, which we did with a few beverages! Once we got in our room at 12:30 I called down to ask about moving to club level and she said it was all booked and until our last 2 nights, we then could move to that for $60 extra. I said I would call her back and I told my DW about it and we went for it, so when I called back she mentioned that they had somone who had booked club level and wanted balcony and they didn't have any left, she also mentioned that the rooms are exactly the same as a deluxe that we had, so I told her I only wanted the club level privlages and not that I wanted to change rooms as I like our view and location. And she told me I could come down right then and the keys to the club for the whole length of our stay!!!!:bounce:
It was great! We enjoyed a great location and all the food and drinks offered. The place never seemed like it was crowded, until our last night and that was only later in the day around 6:00 ish when we were in the club lounge enjoying our free wine & beer and cheese meats and crackers over a game of chess when we noticed the line waiting for the water taxi was huge. We went swimming after 7:00 so we never had any problems. The only other time I noticed all the Well Fargo conventioneers was the night of the NBA finals game when I went to the little tavern on the harbor to watch and there was a good crownd then but nothing bad. The hotel is beautiful and the staff very professional. I asked in the club lounge abuot our arrival gift and she told me we didn't qualify because I booked ENT rate but then asked what I had asked for and that night we had a bottle of white and nuts waiting when we came in from our swim and my girls ate all the chocolates that were there with the turn down too.
The FOTL room key is the only way to go I would never go to Universal again without it. We must have passed 50,000 people in our days who were waiting in line to go on a ride. The Hulk coaster is great!!! It's been fun but I've got to go, any ?'s let me know.

enjoyed reading your trip report

glad you had a great time
i can't wait to go again:hyper:

How did your room at PB compare to the size and feel of rooms at WDW?

Great report Yo! Glad to hear that you & the girls had a wonderful time. A shame we weren't there quite the same time, would have enjoyed having the 4 of us throw back a few cold ones while the kids all swam in the pool! :p

Antonia, the PB room felt much bigger, we had a deluxe room and at AKL we had a standard poolview. At PBR we had a much larger patio and the bath was huge! It also had shutters that opened into the room and helped to make it feel much larger also. I know someone out there knows the room sizes but I do know PB was much bigger. We loved it.

GeminiMom,
We agreed it would have been fun to meet for a cold one and let the kids swim. I was really disappointed in not seeing anyone else from the board. I made all of us have some lime green yarn hanging off of our fanny packs and I still saw no others and no one mentioned it to me. I asked several people who I saw wearing lome green stuff and every time I asked they just looked at me like I was crazy adn my DW would just roll her eyes at me and my oldest DD would want to hide too. I finally stopped asking. I should put out a thread asking were was everyone.

Well I should go, I'm in St. Louis at my brother-in-laws for the 4th. I'm sure glad my Disney trip went better than this one started out. But that's another story. (major blow out and no room at 1:00 am)
Have a great summer everyone!
