On the Magic/Wonder, are the portholes on deck 2 (midship) slightly smaller than higher decks (5-7 fwd) or are they the same? Thanks in advance

Yes, slightly smaller than the upper decks and the deck 2 aft/forward are slightly smaller than midship. They're still large though.

I've sailed in oceanview staterooms on the Magic on deck 7 and on deck 2.

If you're midship on deck 2, the portholes are the exact same size as on deck 7.

Once you get further forward or aft, the portholes get a little smaller (like in the picture the PP posted above).

If you want the largest porthole on deck 2, make sure you're booking a 9B, not a 9C.

This is a picture of the Magic. You can see the portholes on deck 2 (lower portholes) are smaller on the right hand side than on the left (look just above the canopy peak on the right).porthole sizes magic 2008 dcp_1309U.jpg

The double portholes on the bottom are deck 1 ocean view staterooms, the middle ones are staterooms on deck 2, and the ones above those are deck 3 which are public spaces. The porthole for the ocean view staterooms on deck 9 are the same size as those on deck 2. If the portholes on the forward or aft are smaller, the difference is very negligible. Have stayed in an ocean view room (midship and forward) on all decks except deck 1. I’ve even stayed in my daughter’s cabin. She is currently a crew member and her porthole is below the ones pictured here. Hope this helps☺️
