Thanks for the info. This will be our first stay. So I guess we will receive some sort of DVC welcome home kit when we check in

They will hand you a folder with Portable Perks, resort map with your room circled on it and room number written on it, resort newsletter. Plus the regular theme park stuff.

I checked into Paradise Pier in Disneyland last Sunday on a points stay and was surprised to get a Disneyland Portable Perks! DVC and annual passholders get alot of discounts, I got 10% off at almost all restaurants & counter service.

Should you need one when you are at the parks, you can stop by any of the DVC kiosks and ask for one as well.
