I'm looking to get a small portable nebulizer with dual power options to take with us since both boys seem to be acting up with asthma recently. Any brands that are better than others?? I can't find any good review sites to determine what kind to buy.

I've heard that the Pari nebulizers aren't bad. I think the site is http://www.pari.com. They have a line of pediatric and adult nebulizers.

I have seen a couple of them that are in the shape of panda bears and penguins I don't really remember first hand who makes them.

You could also ask your doctor which companies have nebulizers that would fit your needs.

My DD has an Aeroneb Go. It is very small, and you can get it with a battery pack and a regular electrical plug. The other nice thing about it is that the battery pack is separate from the mouthpiece (connected by a cord). DD used to have a neb that was all one unit, and while it was small, she complained that it made her face vibrate so she didn't like using it.

We purchased a portable Pari last year on ebay. It was brand new. It's been great! Pari is the brand they use when they test many nebulized medications. It was less expensive to purchase the silly thing on ebay than it was to have insurance purchase it and then have us buy the battery.

We'd had two Omrons. The Pari is much better.
