Hello,

We are leaving on the Magic this weekend and are very excited! I was reviewing the packing list one more time and something I noticed was that DVD players are on the list of forbidden items. By that I assume they mean actual DVD players that wire into a TV rather than the portable DVD players?

Whenever we travel we typically bring a portable DVD player and a handful of movies for the kids to keep them occupied on the plane. I'd like to continue this practice if possible but I'd hate to be forbidden entrance to the ship because of these devices.

Thanks!

You wouldn't be forbidden boarding. Worst case, they confiscate it and hold it until the end of the cruise and you can reclaim it then.

Yes, that information is "old" information, but it's still on the books.

Portable DVD players are fine. They don't want you bringing in a DVD player and plugging it into their TV. We brought one last year with o problems.
