Portable Cell Phone Charger! Yay!

I have this 13,000 mah charger. I have had it almost a year now and love it. It holds a stand by charge for months. Recharges my phone quickly. The price has gone down twice since I bought it and I was able to get a price adjustment both times. It charges both of our phones at once plus my tablet

I have put them through the paces whenever I attend gaming conventions where all the competing for signal with all the other devices out there drains my phone battery like you would not believe.

Those chargers are beasts and light. I never travel without them now.

Having just returned home from Disney, I have to say the mophie I bought days prior to my trip came in handy every day. I would have been lost without it as my phone was about out of battery by 4 in the afternoon every day. It was a great investment for the trip.

WOW I didn't even know I needed one of these for our trip but there is no way we'll survive without it! I don't get a full day out of my phone when I'm home, our phones would have been dead by lunch!!!! Just assigned this task to DH

The beauty of the Samsung Galaxy is that I can bring 3 batteries with me, change them out and then charge them all at night.

I bought one on amazon for $30 (Jockery brand) and it was amazing to have it! I had been a few months before that and had been seeking out plugs by lunchtime. Instead, this not only charged up my iPhone multiple times, but my brother used it for his Samsung phone too. I use it on a pretty regular basis now. An external cell charger is one of the top things I recommend that aren't your "normal" park items!

That's the brand we have. It was $30 and charged two mostly dead (under 5%) iPhones to full charge. We recharged it and it soldiered on. Love that thing!

My SIL got a cell phone charging case that she got for disney. Just push a button on your cell phone case when it's dead and the case charges it. I think she said it was good for 500 charges. It was pretty cool and I was jealous because my phone went dead so quickly at disney. I felt like I was constantly on my phone now that the my disney experience app is out.

You should check out my RAVPower 14,000mAh external battery pack. The price is more acceptable and you are able to charge two devices at the same time. I carried it around while I am travelling. Really convenient and save me out of emergencies many times.

Thanks for the suggestions! I just order the Anker one from amazon! The white price was back to $50! I ordered it in white and just went back to double check that I didn't accidentally order a $750 charger! Hope that DH is ok with this purchase. He tends to freak out when I buy things for convenience that he doesn't think we need. Then he uses it and can't see how we lived without it! LOL!

Most portable chargers are basically a huge battery with 1 or 2 USB ports on it. You just plug in your own USB charger, and off you go, so you don't have to worry about phone model specific ones. We charged an iPhone, an iPad, my Galaxy S3, some random TracFone Android, and a flip phone off of the charger that I have.

The portable chargers (not the Mophie-type cases) are not phone-specific -- they will charge any phone. You just need a the cord you use to charge it, and connect it to the USB port on the charger.

Yep, I have had that one at least two years, and I love it. The other one, made by Mophie, I have only had six months, but it is great, too.

The New Trent is not as small as the Mophie, but it's more powerful.

I recommend it!
