Portable and quick meal ideas please??

I ahve been doing SlimFast, because of its convenience and my laziness. It is much easier to do that for breakfast and lunch with fruit and veggie snacks and a home cooked dinner than to make eggs, fiber and fruit my breakfast, sandwich or salad with chicken, more fiber and fruit for lunch, and a protein dinner with very few carbs. I really dn't have time to do all this in the morning, and reheated eggs are NOT an option. I am just crabby! SlimFast is so easy! I can drive and eat, get stuff done and eat. Eating isn't a priority because I can do it while doing other things! I don't even know if hte plan works, but it seems to have the nutrients, at least some of them, doesn't it? Can't I lose weight on it? ISN'T THAT WHY IT EXISTS?! UGH!

OK WISHers it's time to help a friend! As you read Ashley was sucker-punched by a fitness guru geek that slammed her convenient slim-fast bars. I know there are lots of busy WISHers that eat on the go and have fabulous tricks and tips for her to pre-prepare breakfast and lunches that fit her busy life and are portable!

Looks like her goals are breakfast goals is protein, fiber and fruit and lunch goal is protein, fiber and fruit (hmmm. it's early but I see a trend?) and then a low-card high protein/veggie dinner? do i have that right Ash?

Here are some thoughts I have already:

Diet v8 juice splash (fruit and veggie juice blend with splenda in singe serve jugs)
Pre-prepare tuna or chicken salad (canned breast meat) and stuff into pita pockets for lunch on the road
Breakfast - thaw in microwave frozen fruit blend and top with Light Done Right Vanilla yogurt (not a portable one though LOL)

Thanks, Molli, for doing this! You are so sweet! I am kind of crying now because I was just SO upset and you are making me feel SO much better!

PLEASE keep the ideas coming...

He said that breakfast should be 1:1 protein:carbs, fruit snack, lunch should be 1:2 protein:carbs, fruit/veggie snack, dinner should be 2:1 protein:carbs and as small as I can suffice.

What is so wrong with Slim Fast? I did it just to get the weight loss rolling again, and since it is so easy I figured why not?! I take the 1-A-Day Weight Smart vitamin and have a nice home cooked dinner (yay, Mom!). I do fruit and veggies as my two snacks, usually. Please help me do something right, because supposedly I am ALL WRONG!

Also, what helped you kick your weight loss into high gear? He said if I follow this eating plan and do 45 minutes resistance and 45 minutes cardio training per day, I could achieve my fitness goals. I feel like I am going into boot camp or something.

For resistance training, do you think any group fitness classes could count, or do I need to be over on the weights side?

EEK. I am scaring myself all over again just reading it. HELP!

Molli, You are such a great person!

How about putting cottage cheese in a carry container and frozen (fresh if you can get them) blueberries in another. I just love that and it does fill me. Breakfast or lunch. I even eat the blueberries before they thaw. Mmmm great!
