Port Upgrade 5 to 3

Has anyone upgraded at the port from a cat 5 to a cat 3? If so, what did you pay? I understand that it is different with every cruise but a ballpark number would be great.

I had booked a cat 4 only 6 weeks out so I paid a lot to begin with. We upgraded at port to cat 3 (only the handicap aft suites were available) and we paid $700 - worth every penny.

We've tried to upgrade on all 4 of our cruises and they were never available.
