What time does the Port Canaveral parking open up?

The terminal and parking open at 10:30AM.

What happens if you arrive at Port before 10:30 AM?
We have a private shuttle bringing us to the port, and we may end up arriving before that, based on when they are picking us up from the airport.
Will we just sit there in some traffic lane somewhere?
(Our PAT is 10:30 AM...)

I have read some comments about the Port Parking not opening until 10:30 AM, but that is our PAT...I can't imagine arriving EXACTLY at 10:30 AM to park! We plan on arriving around 9:45-10:00 AM (depending on traffic).
Does anyone know how early the parking lot at Port Canaveral opens?

You may want to check with your shuttle company. Many of them are not allowed to arrive prior to 11:00.

I've read that it generally opens around 10:15-10:30. Depends on how quickly the previous cruise clears out.

Hi there. Just FYI, I pulled the 10:30am open time directly from the Disney website. Not to say that they don't have people there earlier sometimes but Disney advertises the 10:30AM. (Found under the arrival information section.) They do have some shuttles that drop off earlier but the "official" advertised open time for parking and the port is 10:30AM.

The parking facility is staffed from 10:30 AM to 3:30 PM. for Guests parking their vehicles prior to embarking the ship. The parking lot and garage are paved, gated and under 24-hour surveillance

This is what I just found on the Port Canaveral site itself:

• For your comfort and convenience, please plan to arrive at your cruise terminal no more than 30 minutes prior to the scheduled boarding time for your cruise. Due to U.S. Customs and Border Protection procedures, early arriving guests may not be permitted to enter the cruise terminal on arrival. Arriving in a timely manner will help you avoid a long wait in potentially warm or inclement weather conditions.

Not sure what to make of it, and no where can I find what time the parking area opens??
Hmmm....does anyone have any recent experience with arriving around 10 AM (or earlier) at Port Canaveral?
