PORT PARKING CHARGES Have Gone UP!

Just FYI, we found out today the effective immediately parking at the port is now $10 per day. That's $30 for the 3-night cruise, $40 for the 4-night and $70 for the 7-night cruise. Parking is paid in advance as you enter and they accept cash, MasterCard and VISA.

The charges are set by the Port Authority.

As Michelle said, the charges are set the Canaveral Port Authority as the Authority, not Disney, operates the parking lot. So don't flame Disney for the price increase.

To be honest, I thought the price would have gone up last year after 9/11. I'm not that surprised. Well, if we want to drive to the port, we will pay it. If not, there are other ways to get to ther terminal.

WOW! That is some jump. Of course they had to do it right before our back to back Magic cruises.
I know Port Everglades is $10/day.

The Passenger Ship Terminal parking in NYC is up to about $15 per day!!! Port Canaveral is still a bargain!!!

WOW! I think we will definitely be using our vouchers from the Courtyard in Cocoa Beach to get back and forth!

This price increase definitely makes the hotels w/ parking and transportation seem like a better deal. The hotels that offer this, that I'm aware of are:
