Hi! Can anyone tell me anything about the PO Riverside? Any likes or dislikes? Thank you

I love Port Orleans Riverside. It's a beautiful resort. I prefer the Magnolia Bend side of the resort over the Alligator Bayou section. There's nothing wrong with AB, I just liked the theming of the antebellum mansions in MB. My favorite building location there was Magnolia Terrace. It is right next to the quiet pool, and not too far of a walk from a bus stop or too far from the lobby/food court restaurant.

I also like taking the boat to DTD from the resort. It's a nice ride on the Sassagoula river, especially at night.

I am very partial to Port Orleans Riverside even though I am now a DVC member at BCV. I believe it is one of the most breathtaking, charming and romantic resorts on Disney Property. Especially at night or early morning. I too prefer the Magnolia Bend area as opposed to AB. The mansions and landscaping are what makes it for me!

Oh and if you go, make time to see Bob Jackson in the River Roost Lounge! YEEEEE HAAAAAAA!!!
