Port Orleans Riverside Question

I am currently booked at CSR but I am considering changing to Port Orleans Riverside.

I saw a picture of POFQ that showed a privacy curtain in the room. Do the rooms at POR have the privacy curtain as well?

If you stay at POR, can you use the pool at POFQ?

Which building at POR is closest to the food court and/or the bus stop?

How many bus stops are there?

Yes, they have the curtain.

I think there are 3 bus stops.

Yes, you can use either pool.

I'm not sure which building is closest. I'd have to look at a map. We weren't that close to the food court and it was a good long walk!

Both POR and CSR have the privacy curtain. At least in our room at POR, there was also a dimmer on the lights (nice!) that CSR did not have.

Yes you can use the POFQ pool.

I think Alligator Bayou 14, 15, 18 are closest... check a map. We ended up farther out in AB (like 24 or 25?) and I thought it was fine.

AT POR I think there are about 4 stops, including POFQ. We ended up at the front stop the 2nd day after breakfast, and the bus picked up (we waited for 3) and didn;t go around since it was already full... so I would recommend waiting at the front stop for pick up.

CSR bus has about 3-4 stops also... stops at the back first, front last.

We stayed at both CSR and POR on the same trip, and I loved them both, but liked CSR a bit more.

I have never stayed in Aligator Bayou, but have stayed in Partrere Place twice and it and Oak Manor are a short walk across the bridge over the river to the food court/lobby etc. We loved walking over the water and bridge every morning.

I thought it had just reopened (on 8th March) after a month-long rehab? Has it closed again??

The best building in POR for access to the food court AND for the main bus stop is building 14, if you can get it.

There are four bus stops at POR: South (the best for the main building and the AB 14-18 area, and Parterre Place too), West (further round AB), North (AB 36-39 plus Acadian House) and East (rest of mansion buildings).

Yes, they do have a privacy curtain and if you stay at Oak Manor (where we stayed) it's very close to EVERYTHING.
You'll love the boat ride to DTD. The food court isn't bad. Boatwrights' was great and the "lounge act" was terrific. It was a very beautiful and relaxing place to spend our downtime.

We just returned from POR. We loved it. The pool was great. We have stayed at POR, POFQ, and CSR. CSR and POR have the best pools in my opinion. I think the water slide at CSR is closed. I have a 3 and 4 year old that loved PORs pool. We even fished while we were there. Very relaxing!
