I do remember you now. Wow sorry. I do hear from a lot of guests so it took your message to remember. When you get some time you should share how your trip turned out for that year through PM. Well anyhow Good morning to you and everyone here!

Thanks for the help everyone. I'll give them a call tonight and see what they can do.

This has probably already been answered but there are so many posts in this forum I can't find it!

We currently have a King size room booked for Aug. 15-23.

We prefer the Magnolia Bend rooms. And now with the Summer Discount we could get the Royal Rooms w/garden view for only $90 more (including memory maker package).

I've never seen a Royal Room in person, has anyone stayed there before? What do you think about the rooms? They look really cute in the pictures.

Thoughts?

Yes, the Royal Rooms are really cute, lots of fun details for the kids (and the grown-up kids :) ). Do remember you can't get a King Bed room there though, only two queens.

I'll be staying there in April. Can't wait.

Don't know if any wdw discounts are still available, but if not, are you an AAA member? We've gotten 20% off a room only res by asking the wdw call line for AAA discount. Have your card ready, they need the AAA member #.

I heard they no longer offer AAA discounts but I can't say for sure.

You can ask for a AAA discount on the room only when booking through Disney. If you are interested in booking a package with the AAA discount, you have to book through AAA in order to get the discount.

Hi

I just booked a AAA room at POR a couple of months ago. I went through Disney. However, the discount is now 15% at least for the moderates.

We don't need the king bed, just thought we would pick that since there's only 2 of us. And as it turns out, we don't need the memory maker. My brother has the memory maker as part of his package and we are just going to share that. (We shared the photo pass last time and worked well). So actually the Royal room works out cheaper than our current booking!

So I think I'll take staying in a Royal Room over a King Bed room this time.

We are those "grown-up kids" you speak of! :yay:

If I buy a stroller rather than rent one, can I have it shipped to the hotel? Thank you!

This is my first time posting to this site. What a wonderful wealth of information on all things Disney! We are staying at PO Riverside in early May and have reserved a Garden View Room. My daughter's boyfriend (both are coming with us) is proposing to her just before we go so we can celebrate their engagement while at the most magical place on earth! He is actually making a B&B Enchanted Rose to put the ring in (daughter is a huge B&B fan). What a romantic!

My question is, if I send in a nice fax, how can I hint around at possibly getting an upgrade to a Royal Room to celebrate their "Princess" engagement? I would love to surprise them with a Royal Room when we arrive, but my funds are limited and I am hoping to get some magic pixie dust on our trip. This is my future son-in-law's first trip to Disney as well.

Thanks for any guidance you can provide!

I imagine you can ship just about anything. We rented a stroller and was very please with the service. Loved that stroller...easiest thing to fold up when getting on the bus/monorail

I was able to upgrade to a River View, so my fingers are crossed for having a more central/convenient location for my parents. We are 36 days out, and my parents received their ME tags today. I was added to the trip at 44 days out, so my tags weren't included in that mailing. Should I expect them to arrive separately, or should I make a call?

Does anyone in here-Venom, Andre- know if MLK weekend was blacked out from the promo this year?

Can't hurt to call.

I would definitely give them a call. I didnt get mine with my mickey mail and we had booked our trip early. We gave them a call and they said it looks like they forgot to put them in the mickey mail.
