Just booked POR for our bounceback FD for next year. Dh wanted CBR but the full beds were a deal breaker.

I am headed to POR in 3 days.

I haven't posted before, but I have been reading along for a while and wanted to say thank you. All of your advice and tips have been so helpful. And Andre, you do much a better job than Disney does when it comes to advertising the POR!

This is the first Disney trip for my kids, 8 and (almost) 2. It is the first time for my husband and I since we were kids - AND the first time to stay on property.

It is a celebration trip - our little one turns 2 and the 8 year old was just adopted by my husband (step-parent adoption) a couple weeks ago. We don't have those added onto anything. Is it worth it to call and add it to our dining reservations?

I would say, absolutely! Everyone has a birthday each year, but how often do you get to celebrate an adoption?

Congratulations!

We also took our mugs to the Polynesian. They were not RFID and still selling the old colors, but no one said anything to us about using them. I didnt feel bad because the "new" RFID plan is that you can use them at any resort.

Absolutely - you have paid extra for your mug compared to non-Rapid Fill guests, and one of the new perks is that you can resort-hop with your mugs.

Now that you are home are the mugs able to go in the microwave?

No, sorry, there is metal in the chip.

one day mom asked where were going to be staying so she could google it an I sent her to your site.

In fact, Google puts my site in first ranking for most common Port Orleans searches, above even Disney's! :)

Can you see any fireworks from anywhere in por?

You can see some of the higher bursts, but not really see the 'shows'.

Bump! I would live to know this, too. We had originally booked CBR, but DH decided the full size beds were a deal breaker! (I was looking forward to watching fireworks from the hammocks there).

Are the Royal Rooms only available in buildings 90 and 95?

Trying to figure out the best approach in terms of bus stops to use for the resort trips.

You can always watch MK Wishes fireworks from the hammocks at the Poly beach some night.

We check in on Oct 31st and our fast pass ability was active today- 60 days out- although not sure if it is limited somehow- I have no option to choose parades or fireworks or things like enchanted tales with belle- and I have no idea how to get BoG lunch bcs it doesn't pop up as an option - hoping things open up in a few days.

Another downfall I see is that you have to pick 3 - i wanted to grab a late afternoon one for an mnsshp day but it made me have 3 which seems like a waste if I won't use them.

Question: I arrive in Walt Disney world a week from tomorrow. We are staying in porr. I got a letter a few weeks ago about the refrigerator with a phone number to call but lost the letter. My father has diabetes and needs a fridge. Can anyone help me??? What should I do. And what will I have to bring to prove to Disney that my father has diabetes?

I'm pretty sure there is a way to only select one, you can definitely delete unwanted fps.

Believe me, Disney is also testing building no shows into the system. Don't worry about wasting it. They're planning on people not using everything they booked (like they do with paper fp).

My DH is also diabetic. Just call the regular Disney number and connect to resort reservations. Tell them your situation and have them add the fridge request to your ressie. Also, you can fax a request to the resort just as a follow up. I was not told I had to bring anything to prove he is diabetic....I guess I could always pull out his meds to prove it!

Andre answered in the post just before yours.

Does anyone know why POR would be full on Sept 12th only. If you search for dates before the 12th there are rooms and if you search after the 12th there are rooms but if the 12th is in your search it says no rooms are available.

I think I read it somewhere, but can't find it....What evenings does Yee Haw Bob play?
thanks!!
....nevermind....CM finally found it (assuming she was right)...Wed-Sat...
