Just logged into MDE site and it will let me do fastpass+ but not magic bands. Only problem is it says one person in my party isn't eligible for fastpass+. Wonder if there is a problem and I should call about that in the morning. Does this also mean magic bands ate coming soon for my dates? We are going 9/18-9/24.

I was just able to log on to My Disney Experience on the website and make fastpass+ reservations. We are arriving at POR on September 14! I was not able to order magic bands yet, just the fastpasses.

Same here! We are POR 9/12 - 9/14 in a RO reservation (no tickets) and the app let me in to make FP+ selections. However, once I got to the select a party member screen, because we have no tickets associated with our account/linked, it wouldn't let me go further. The website will not even let me that far, still just gives the error "We're sorry! The selected dates... yada yada".

The FP+ and MagicBand options weren't available to me before tonight in the app (the menu didn't even list them until now). Still no MagicBand options, when I click on it, it just takes me to the link a reservation screen, but it's still very interesting they are showing up in the menu now. BTW, I'm using the Android (smart phone) version of the app.

I'm in no rush since we are getting into the parks with a CM who won't be able to book FP+ with us (at least at this point in time) but it's pretty cool that things are progressing... Good luck to you guys who get in to make FP+ reservations!

Do yourself a favor, do what we did and order beer through garden grocer and have them deliver it to your room

Much cheaper !

Not once you add in delivery fees and such...

I have two reservations for our upcoming trip too:

09/27-09/29 (Room Only, POR)
09/29-10/06 (Free Dining Package, POR)

I can only make FP+ selections for 9/27 and 9/28. No 9/29, even though that's "check-out day" on the first reservation.

Nothing for 9/29-10/06 yet.

I couldn't wait and went on (here at work - uh oh) but I just couldn't wait!

So I checked and I can too!!!

My first stay is for 1 day on 9/21 and then I return on 9/26-10/4 and then 10/4-10/6. I didn't finish checking for the second and third cuz I need to get on here and get off - just had to say Thank you for keeping us in real time!!!!

Where did you get the silhouette, how much was it and how long did the kids need to sit still?

I saw both places but we ended up doing it at MK next to the Christmas store heading over to Frontierland because we were all together and had the time at the moment. if not I would have done it at DTD because they gave you 3 copies instead of the 2 at MK even though the artist was very nice and left both DH and BIL very impressed. I just held DS on my lap holding his head for a min and he was done. I forgot the the actual total of how much we payed. The frame was like $8.

Andre: we felt we could have stayed longer as well.

I hope it means POR will be testing and we will get bands, but read on a MagicBand testing thread it's a glitch right now in the system.

Who knows! I won't be too excited until I get the bands or the email confirming we're part of the test (lying...I'm already just excited to see how the choosing of fp+ went)!

Hi everyone! Checked in on Tuesday. This is our first stay at POR and it is beautiful! The fridge was not working but there was no note saying that. I would have never even thought to check if it wasn't for these boards. DH called the front desk to see if there was one available because DS has antibiotics that refrigeration is "recommended". They said they would send a medical fridge up while we went to the parks and they would put the medicine in the fridge. We got back late and it wasn't there. We decided not to worry about it since the meds can technically be at room temp. We paid for a garden view. We certainly see a great deal of parking lot from our view. I have to assume it is the last in the category in our hall. We are in room 8780 magnolia bend. I don't care because we only got garden due to availability, however, DH mentioned it while on the phone about the fridge and they immediately offered to move us or refund the difference between garden and standard. I thought that was very nice and we took the refund. The only other issue I would say is that the bridge is out that is right next to our building but it should be functioning on Friday. The busses have been fantastic, the beds comfy and we enjoyed the food court for lunch yesterday. Going to Boatwrights tonight. Having a great time!

The end of May we were in 8778 and my parents were in 8779, it was quoted as a garden view (we were upgraded from standard view) and we couldn't see any parking lot from either room when we looked out.

I don't know the dimensions - maybe they are on the .org website (i think link is on front of thread).

I am curious also

I know that when I went at christmas a while ago and did lights I brought two strands of lights and one extension cord....not sure if that did the top and sides or the whole window and we were on a corner so only did one window.

I think I must be the only one that is not looking forward to the magic bands!! I am somewhat claustrophobic and can not stand anything on my wrist, I don't think I'd have a problem if I could wear an alternative around my neck, or put it in my pocket...

I don't see why you couldn't keep it in your pocket.
