I am here now and we got an awesome room! I'm up, waiting to wake up my dh and daughter to go to tusker house breakfast...

Anyhow, I reserved a standard royal room. Didnt make any special requests or send a fax...

We got water view and we have a corner room and parterre place. The cm who checked us in didn't mention it. It's a great room though, love it!

My daughter absolutely loves all the princess touches.

I hope they let me customize my magicbands soon! I'm checking in on October 17th. I'm so excited to be getting them! I'm just hoping they stay on the kids wrists. I would hate for them to pop off and the kids not notice. Anyway, for those who have customized them, what colors do you get to choose from?!

From memory, there was pink, red, blue, green, the standard grey. I want to say yellow or orange but can't remember.

Red, blue, pink, green, gray, yellow and orange. I chose red, husband chose blue and our daughter chose pink. I would have chosen purple but it's not available.

So, customising magic bands has just become available on the MDE website, despite out trip is only 24 days away (11th September) and we are in Australia, AND haven't checked in online yet. Worth a go? Whats the worst that could happen??

Can't hurt. The worst they could do is reset the computer and it is all gone. But it is only a few minutes of clicking, so go for it. We did a few days ago and expect to receive mail/email today or tomorrow. We've done all our FP's for 9 days and customized our bands. The message still says, "shipping soon."

Riverside and French Quarter are still at around 50%. Genuine medical requests are all being fulfilled, and everything else is being dealt with on a case-by-case basis. 500 more fridges are expected by the end of the month, which should improve the situation still further, and they should all be replaced by early November.

I don't have a medical situation but I would like a fridge for my baby's milk. What do you think my chances are of getting a fridge?

We never use ME bc we live in SC and it's a decently short drive for us. Can you do this with a ticket number or anything else, or does it only work with ME tag numbers? Thanks!

If you get magic bands you can use the confirmation number from that.

Thank you! We aren't going until next July, so we will most likely have Magic Bands (they can link APs to them, right?) I'll have to make a note of this so I don't forget. Do you do it 60 days out like the FP+ reservations?

It's just a test right now so I'm sure the procedure will be different by next July.

I have the same question...hopefully so but i guess that's why its case by case I'm assuming a lot of us are in the infant needs milk position

Mention the need for keeping baby-milk cold and I'm sure they'll try their very best to help you. There are fridges, it's just a case of making sure that the working ones are in the rooms where guests need them!
