Port Orleans Riverside Preferred Buildings

I spoke to a CM today at CRO, because I was putting a request in my ressie and I specifically inquired about Preferred Rooms at POR and she specifically stated that her computer screen and she checked to get any add'l information at 3 places, that the only Buildings currently listed in their booking site is in the AB section. I think she said 14, 15, 18 and 27. So far, there is nothing in the Mansion section at all.

Im planning on booking a vacation for October and I am going to book a river view room. Any new updates to where the river view rooms are located? Are they just in AB or are there river view rooms in the mansions as well?

I am thinking about booking one of the preferred rooms for next year (when the rates and packages come out in August) so we can finally stay in the Bayou. We have requested the Bayou over and over again but our family of just 3 always ends up in the mansions.

Buildings 14, 15, 18, and 27 in AB, not sure they have decided on which mansions. ~~

Our TA said what she could see for rooms (that agents can see ?) and after speaking to them that there are preferred rooms on the Mansion side. Preferred rooms by the definition she was given are rooms with the closest proximity to the food court and the main pool. They are located on the Mansion buildings closest to the food court/main pool which would theoretically be Oak Manor and the front side of Magnolia. FWIW

Riverview can be be AB 14, 15, 18 (only a few), 27 or any of the Mansions

We were at POFQ April 29th-May 8th and walked over to PORS one day just to check it out. We asked at guest services about the rehab (which she wouldn't give any information about) and about the locations of the preferred rooms. She said only AB 14, 15, 18, and 27 were preferred. All the mansions were either water/river view or standard.

I think you're going to get 20 different answers. I had a friend recently stay at POR in preferred and they were put in the Mansions in a room very close to the walk way to the Food court. I think it was the left front wing of Oak. If you check rates, preferred rooms and riverside waterview rooms & riverside waterview King at POR are the same price. Perhaps that is their logic. Who knows.

Do all of the rooms at POR accomodate 5 people (with the trundle?) or do you have to ask specifically for this?
