I have no idea. They removed all the furniture and started working on the rooms. The room I peeked into yesterday was gutted. I think I have a photo of that somewhere. I'll try to find the SD card it was on.
I'm a week behind on all the posts here, but from the little bit I've managed to read, it sounds like Missy Tara will be able to answer our questions.

Yes of course get settled and catch up, lol. I just cant wait for us to go back also. Yes she just left recently to go for a visit and snoop a little for us I believe. Thanks for wonderful photos.

Yeah it kinda puts the other schedule to shame huh. Lol. I guess it was probably all best guess as to completion.

I've got a preferred room reservation for Feb. Would love to get a refurbished room - but the original schedule said those wouldn't be even started on then.

As I kept reiterating (because I knew this would happen at some point) any leaked schedules must always be treated as tentative. They can change their minds at any time as the work progresses or needs change - and if they are moving ahead of the provisional schedules, all the better!

In light of the recent news about buildings 14 and 15, I'm wondering if there's anyone out there who can confirm if work has actually begun already on 38 and/or 39. I know those were the next ones due for completion according to the tentative schedule, but the 14/15 news just made me wonder if those two are being done prior to Xmas instead of 38/39, rather than in addition to them. I wouldn't suspect they'd jump around the property like that, but wasn't able to find anything confirming actual work underway on 38/39. Thanks to anyone who can clear this up!

I have always stayed in AB and always loved it. I was looking at the pictures on Andre's sight PortOrleans.org today. He has WONDERFUL pictures on his website. You can get a really good idea of what the resort is like looking at his pics.

There were alot of beautiful pics of the Mansions section as well as everything else.

Andre, for so long, I have wished I could see a pic of each mansion building and know the name of it. I am familiar with AB but when I see a pic of a mansion building, I have no idea which building it is. If you had the time or inclination, I would love to see one pic with a name label for each mansion. I think I really want to stay here when we get 2 rooms but I'd like to familiarize myself with the buildings.

I was there Nov 13-19 and they were repainting the outside of AB 36, the refurbed building I got to stay in. But, they were just priming the shutters when I left. Anyone know if they were painting them the same green or going with a different color this time? Just curious.

Yeah it took me a bit to learn how to modify them in raw format also. I have two 32GB cards and one 16GB for WDW and two are just back ups.

We never have used on line check in. But we did have the request noted on our reservation, that we wanted a refurbed room either Acadian House or magnolia Terrace. We love the mansion section. So I think it's more important to have your request noted on your reservation rather then how you check in.
Also more important might be what time you check in. The earlier the better probably.

Yup- here now in building 36 and we see them working on 38.

We checked in online, but we had called a few days earlier and requested a refurbished room in the bayou. We got here around noon, and our room was all set for us in the refurb building 36.
