How is the hot tub? Is it a decent size? DH has back issues that pop up with a lot of walking... Hot tubs save him at Disney!

I think they could be a tad larger for the size of the resort. I've been able to get in them, but i go during low seasons.

There is a natural remedy range- Bachs Remedies - they do one called Aspen. It is a little bottle, you put a couple of drops on your tongue and it helps you relax.

1st timer question. We have a royal room with the river view booked because it was the only royal room available. A garden view royal room has popped up and it is a few hundred dollars (roughly $225 over 10 nights) cheaper. Is the river view worth the extra cost?

I guess it depends how much you're really gonna be in your room looking out the window to appreciate such a view. That's all up to your personal preference.

I could see it being worth the extra cost if the rooms had balconies. My biggest concern is that the garden view would put us on the back side of the resort buildings making the walk to the main building that much longer?

The River View rooms in the Royal section (especially Oak Manor) are some of the closest to the main buildings too, which is worth considering. And even without a formal balcony, it's lovely to step outside of your door and see the river (especially on upper floors) and have the same view out of your window. The rooms on the back of the buildings are mostly Standard rather than Garden views.

About 500 yards from the furthest points to the food court (roughly equal distances from the far end of Parterre Place as it is from some of the outer rooms in Alligator Bayou).

Hi! First post after carefully reading several pages. Love this thread! This may have been asked but about how long does it take to get to POR using Magical Express? I know times will vary but was hoping for some ideas. DH, DD and I arrive in 33 days.

Our lil one has a lot of hair and we do well with the dryer. Doesn't take too long either.

I THINK that there are no elevators. So if a first floor room is important, I'd request it.

There are elevators in a central location of each building.
