Surprising the kiddos tomorrow with a January/February trip to POR!! I'm so excited! I can't believe it's upon us so quick.

We're borrowing another DIS'er's idea to wrap a big uhaul box filled with classic Mickey colored balloons and we're attaching "invitations" to them!

Yeah we did a surprise like the commercials. We got all the way to the airport and she just thought we were going there to eat at my favorite place for dinner there. Then when the mother in law was going to "take and park the car," dropping us off at the passenger drop off, we pulled the camera out and sprung it. She was in denial even pulling the suitcases out of the back of the car. Even still walking to the counter she was saying, "nuh uh," over and over. Then she said, "Pinky promise we are going." We said yes we are actually going! This was back when Justin Bieber's Movie came to theaters, because she thought after dinner we were going to see the movie lol.

I'm super excited! Kids have NO idea! But I would love it if someone would surprise me with a trip someday too.

I will be surprising my kiddo too the day we leave. I didn't want to tell him in advance and overshadow the holidays and family time with Disney excitement. The box with balloons idea is AMAZING! I may do that too, although we are not leaving until Jan. 5. So fun!

We had a horrible experience with our return trip from EPCOT last night but that had everything to do with the driver and not POR.

We had a similar problem in October when we were there. We waited 45 min and finally when a POFQ bus came and stopped at the wrong stop so th transportation person made him take everyone waiting for POR to POR. Especially seeing two other buses for POFQ had just pulled up.

Was the only bus issue we had the entire week.

Didn't check for an answer to this, but we just returned from a Royal Riverfront. Ask for Oak Manor or PARTERRE room that is CLOSEST to the Footbridge to the lobby and you'll be fine and yes, fax your request. I'll PM you the one I sent.

1) Are the in-room safes at POR big enough for a 13-inch MacBook? Preferably two stacked on top of each other?

2) We have the deluxe dining plan. Can we charge the tips for our meals back to our room?! Seems like that would be easier than carrying around cash for tips.

That is a tough one about the MacBook. I heard you can fit a regular MacBook but not a pro. It is deep enough for 2. Maybe Andre has the dimensions?

I think have just convinced the hubby to move from offsite to Riverside for our trip with the kiddos in June *keeping my fingers crossed that Disney comes out with some sorta promotion to help me seal the deal *
